Fast engines in vintage cars. Cool-climate wine with a story in its soil. Gold on black. Leather with a temper you feel in the first swing. He collects evidence of mastery, in craft, in material, in art, in the people who made the thing and understood exactly what they were doing.

The Garrison is that sensibility made physical. Dark, maximalist, precise. A private study that doubles as an armoury: leather-bound ledgers, a decanter catching low light, trophies mounted quietly. It took years to become exactly this.

Two rooms within it. An Tine, the hearth, where His candles reside. The Whisky Room, where His implements live. Both chosen with the same unhurried certainty.
