Red stone, red hide.

Set a garnet against candlelight and its red deepens almost to black at the heart. Garnet carries both into the Cabinet of Curiosities in heavy floater.

Broad falls of heavy floater roll in as one deep, resonant thud, and the edges bite when the swing is driven home.

Red and black floater share the falls, both thick and deeply grained, and the red was a one-off hide that El cannot get again. A box braid in the same two colours, the red in metallic, runs down a long handle. One of a kind. Once it goes, it is gone.

For the experienced Top who wants full weight and knows exactly where to put it, and the Bottom who wants it deep.
