Sunshine, struck like a match.

The sparks off struck steel are tiny flakes of iron, burning as they fly. Spark Yellow catches that flash and holds it in wax.

Lemon, saffron and gold crackle across the surface as it falls. The drop lands bright as a struck match and leaves sunshine behind.

Pure paraffin carries the yellow at full brightness and sets with a gleaming, sunlit finish. It comes away in casts at the end.

How to Use:

Light the candle. Once the wax starts to melt around the base of the wick, tip parallel and test the first drops on your own forearm before the canvas. Avoid inverting the candle, hold parallel to the canvas and rotate in the hand to melt wax evenly. Height controls temperature. Higher is cooler, lower is hotter. Build from there, one deliberate drop at a time.

Metallic finishes run warmer than standard paraffin, the mica in the pigment holds extra heat. Watch the wick while it burns. If it stops burning down with the candle, put it out and trim the wick before relighting.

Safety:

Formulated for wax play. Keep away from eyes, face, broken skin and hair. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick between sessions. Consent and communication before the first drop, always.

Paraffin retains heat longer than soy. Never let it pool on the skin, as pooled wax can run significantly hotter than the stated melting point and risks burns.
