Named for the light that wakes it.

Ultraviolet is the light just beyond violet, the same light a blacklight throws, so this candle answers the lamp by name. Rich, deep violet while the house lights are up, it sits between Plasma and Ultramarine.

The colour does its best work in the dark, jumping to neon grape and floating a breath above the skin. It strikes bright, and the heat follows slowly, spreading outward.

Pure paraffin sets smooth and supple over the violet, a glassy skin that keeps glowing until it's lifted. Peeled away, it comes off in long, flexible pieces.

For the Wax Bottom who likes to watch the colour hover before it lands.

How to Use:

Light the candle. Once the wax starts to melt around the base of the wick, tip parallel and test the first drops on your own forearm before the canvas. Avoid inverting the candle, hold parallel to the canvas and rotate in the hand to melt wax evenly. Height controls temperature. Higher is cooler, lower is hotter. Build from there, one deliberate drop at a time.

Safety:

Formulated for wax play. Keep away from eyes, face, broken skin and hair. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick between sessions. Consent and communication before the first drop, always.

Paraffin retains heat longer than soy. Never let it pool on the skin, as pooled wax can run significantly hotter than the stated melting point and risks burns. Don't apply oil underneath this wax.
